Netpoint is no longer accepting new wireless internet clients.
For nearly three decades we've provided Internet access and technology to the region. Now, we've begun a new chapter in our timeline as we announce a partnership with MVTV.
If you recieved a letter regarding this change then you will want to review this information. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Effective August 1st 2025 MVTV will be taking over operational control of the SCI infrastructure that deliveres services to Green Valley, Ghent, Minneota and Marshall and you will be transitioned to MVTV
With this partnership arrangement, MVTV is waiving the membership fee and installation fee for Netpoint customers. MVTV has also agreed to honor Netpoint's pricing and bandwith packages.
They will also be upgrading your internet access equipment for free.

Let them know that you are a Netpoint subscriber. MVTV will contact you to arrange for a technician to come onsite and perform the upgrades.
Clients who transition to MVTV will be able to continue to use their @Starpoint.net email address until January 31, 2026. After that, you may continue to use the email service but it will be unsupported. If you chose a different service provider, you will need a supported account to continue using it.
Unsupported Accounts:
If an unsupported account is not used for a period of four months, it will be considered abandoned and be deleted unless we are notified otherwise. If you have an issue with your email or email device, tech support is available for $25/hr with a minimum of $25.
Supported Accounts:
Prior to February 1, 2026 you may contact Starpoint Communications and sign up for a supported email account. The cost of a supported account is $30/yr.
MVTV also offers email.
Billing
Through the month of July 2025, your NetPoint billing will be pro-rated to sync with MVTV's billing. Amounts billed by Netpoint will need to be made to Netpoint.
Beginning August 1, 2025, MVTV will be billing for Internet Access Services. If you have pre-paid Netpoint for 6 months or 1 year, you will see a credit on your statements from MVTV.
Please note that MVTV charges a $2 fee for sending paper invoices. If you want to avoid this fee you will want to provide them with an email address.
